Anxiety is a feeling of excessive worry and fear.
Have you been dreading the day as soon as you wake up? You feel exhausted before you even step out the door. You cannot breathe freely and think clearly. You may have difficulties with eating and sleeping. You feel short of breath, lightheaded, disoriented and overwhelmed. Your stomach feels tight. Your muscles feel tense. You obsess about the past conversations, and constantly worry about the future. Anxiety can strike suddenly. You feel out of control.
Anxiety may be dominant in certain life areas. You may not be entirely happy in your career or relationships. Anxiety could be directly related to past unresolved trauma.

You are NOT alone. I am here to help. Many people often suffer from some form of anxiety in this demanding, fast-moving world of ours. Many people with anxiety are hard-working, passionate and successful individuals. However, they live with a sense of nervousness in their core.
Some anxiety is normal and fuels us to make plans and take positive actions. However, excessive anxiety is painful.
You may feel paralyzed and stuck. This continuous state of panic and fear leave many of my clients feeling defeated, so they may feel down and experience symptoms of depression.
You most likely have been trying to cope with anxiety on your own.
However, perhaps your coping skills are no longer working maybe even hurting you. You might find yourself isolating, drinking more than you’d like, binge eating or restricting your food, getting in and out of toxic relationships. You wish to find the path to the version of you who is calm, sane and happy. Therapy can and will help!
